About us
Hi! We're BYVALLUM, a creative duo from Varaždin, run by Sandra and Erika. We love good ideas, but we love it even more when there's a clear plan behind them. We approach every brand strategically — from positioning and messaging to visuals and content that actually work.
We develop social media, create visual identities and build branding systems that are consistent, sustainable and recognizable. We don't follow trends just for the sake of trends; we'd rather build solid foundations that deliver long-term results. The name BYVALLUM comes from the Latin word for 'wall' or 'fortress', inspired by Varaždin's Old Castle. That approach is close to us — a brand isn't built in a rush, but layer by layer, with clear structure and purpose behind every element.

What we collect and why
Through the contact form on this website we collect your name and surname, e-mail address, subject and message. We use them for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to that, to agree on cooperation. We do not use them for newsletters, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell them to anyone.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and where the enquiry concerns a possible contract, the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
How long we keep it
Twelve (12) months from our last communication about the enquiry. If cooperation follows, we keep the data for as long as the business relationship lasts and for as long as tax and accounting regulations require. After that we delete it.
Who else has access
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which also receives and stores contact form submissions on our behalf as a processor. The transfer to the United States is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and Netlify's participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not pass your data to anyone else, except where we are required to do so by law.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It only stores two technical entries in your browser's local storage: your language choice and the fact that you have dismissed the notice at the bottom of the page. Fonts are served from our own server, so no data is sent to third parties when the page loads.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing, as well as the right to withdraw consent. Write to info@byvallum.hr and we will respond within 30 days.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop@azop.hr.
